The Problem
You Quoted It. They Went Quiet. You Moved On.
That wasn't their fault — or yours. Most homeowners don't go with someone else. They just got busy. Life happened. All they needed was one nudge at the right moment.
But you're running jobs, managing techs, and chasing invoices. Nobody has time to ride out after every stray estimate. So they wander off — and eventually land with whoever followed up first.
The average HVAC contractor has 15–30 stray estimates sitting in their system right now
Most of those homeowners haven't hired anyone yet — they just haven't been wrangled back
A single text at the right moment is often all it takes to bring one home
How It Works
Set It Once. He Rides Forever.
01
Connect your ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or other FSM
We plug in via API — no new software, no dashboard to learn or manage. We handle the entire setup for you. You're live in 5–10 business days.
02
He watches for strays
Every day, Estimate Cowboy scans your previous day's estimates. If no estimates are sold for a given job, that customer gets texted automatically.
03
He rides out with a text
A natural, conversational message goes out from your business — not a blast, not a coupon. You'll see and approve the exact sequence before anything goes out to your customers.
04
You get the alert. You close the job.
The moment a homeowner replies, your team is notified with their name, number, and exactly what they said. You call them back already knowing they're interested and where the conversation left off.

What You Need To Know
Here's Common Questions About How It Works.
What if I wrote 3 estimates for the same job?If any estimate on that job gets marked Sold in ServiceTitan (or any FSM), Estimate Cowboy skips the entire job automatically. Nobody gets texted for work that's already closed. It checks every estimate tied to that Job ID before it rides out.
Will it text customers on estimates that already closed? No. It checks for a Sold status on every job before sending anything. Closed jobs stay closed. Only genuine strays get wrangled.
Are text message costs included?Yes. Your subscription pays for all text message costs that go out to your customers.
What does it actually say to people?A natural, conversational text — not a blast, not a coupon, not a robot. It reads like someone from your office following up. You approve the messaging sequence before we go live.
What if I already have an A2P number? No problem. We will still need to submit A2P registration on your behalf to use Estimate Cowboy.
How does my team get alerted when someone responds? We'll text or email the person you designate in your onboarding form. The alert will show you the name and phone number of the person interested followed by their exact reply so you're primed to take over the conversation.

Your Strays Are Out There Right Now
Every estimate you've written that hasn't closed is still out there wandering. Average HVAC job: $3,000–$14,000. One job wrangled back pays for a full year. The math does itself.
